Monty the Mammoth
English-style Barley Wine
8.2% ABV, 48 IBUs
Monty…the beloved mascot of the big trail that dots the landscape of this great state! From St. Croix Falls to Milton to Sturgeon Bay, Monty roamed these parts. This beast of a Barley Wine comes in at 8.3% ABV with a mere 47 IBU’s, but the real flavor is in the malt with caramel, toffee, and molasses type notes with hints of spicy, floral hops and a bit of alcohol heat to finish it off. What could be better after a long hike on that iconic trail?
Tap 2
Angry Unicorn Sour Ale w/ Pineapple, Mango & Kiwi
7.2% ABV, 32 IBUs
What does an Angry Unicorn look like you may ask? We’re not sure, but we would likely know it when we see it! And trust us we probably don’t want to see it, however we would have to think if angry enough it explodes into something really good. Like maybe a fruited sour beer?!?!?! This kettle soured ale has a very tart base with huge amounts of the 7th Annual Pink Boots Hop Blend addend at the end of boiling to round out the massive additions of Pineapple, Mango & Kiwi. Pucker up. After all, it was an Angry Unicorn!

Tap 3
Meme Machine
Cold IPA
7.2% ABV, 58 IBUs
Ale? No. Lager? Kinda. IPA? Sorta. “Sounds like a joke to me. Kind of a Meme Machine”. Well, it’s an IPA made with loads of flaked rice and corn, fermented “cold” using lager yeast, but at warmer than normal lager temperatures. Wtf? Then we added loads of Styrian Dragon and Cascade hops for citrus, grapefruit, lime, orange and spicy aromas and subtle flavors. It drinks crazy light with a dry finish.
tap 4
Prairie du Lac Porter
5.6% ABV, 37.6 IBUs
For all the history buffs, this one is named after what the Milton area was originally called prior to its official founding, Prairie du Lac or ‘Prairie of the Lakes’. We use a healthy dose of Chocolate and Black malt to bring out flavors of toffee, chocolate and coffee flavors.
*Available in 16oz. cans to-go
Tap 5
Half Wit Wheat Ale
6.0 % ABV, 18.2 IBU's
Part Wit, Part Saison, All Wheat
Tap 6
SnapBack Blonde Ale
4.5% ABV, 22.9 IBUs
“I usually drink…what should I get?” Well, here’s your answer. A simple, one size fits all Blonde Ale that balances form and function. Just like a good SnapBack. Enough said.

tap 7
AFT Hazy IPA v8
6.5% ABV, 46 IBUs
The first beer we produced on our 1 barrel system…”About F’n Time” was the phrase uttered when it was done. And a name was born! We use flaked oats and unmalted wheat (along with some simple chemistry hocus-pocus) to create a soft, hazy version of an IPA. For this variation, we changed up the hops a bit and used huge doses of Elani, Superdelic and HBC638 to bring a cornucopia of tropical, citrus, berry and stone fruit aromas and flavors.

Tap 8
Underground ALEroad IPA
6.2% ABV, 60.5 IBUs
A bit of an historical style with a modern twist from our guest brewer, Dave Warren. You may know Dave from his hardware days. But today he spends his time supporting some great organizations like Rotary and Milton House Museum. To showcase the supported organizations of his charity work, we created a preprohibition style IPA using some modern Centennial and Comet hops for a balance of malt sweetness with citrus, herbal and piney characteristics.
This beer was made in partnership with Dave Warren and the Janesville Noon Rotary. A portion of the proceeds go back to support Rotary’s ongoing fundraising efforts.
Tap 9
Scooter Loves Amber Ale
5.6% ABV, 32 IBUs
A guy, who shall remain unnamed, likes Amber Ales so much that he spends part of his anniversary (yes, that anniversary) making beer in someone else’s garage! True story. And for the record his wife’s name is not Amber. We use a combination of Munich, Caramel, and Chocolate malts to bring a rounded, not too sweet flavor that balances out a hint of bitterness and herbal notes from Perle hops.

tap 10
Coming soon… S’more or Less Pastry Porter
Tap 11
Seltzer
5.0% ABV, 0 IBUs
Indeed we make it. We use a combination of yeast by starting with a Norwegian strain that provides tropical fruit flavors and then finish off the fermentation with champagne yeast to provide a nice balanced, dry finish. This seltzer can be consumed in its ‘raw’ form, meaning we don’t add any fruit or flavorings to the base. Or you can add one of our house made simple syrups to up your flavor game.
